This summer I really love the Hawaiian/ Tropical prints.  Buy cute denim crop tops and 3/4 length skinny jeans for a great 50s look. All clothes below are from River Island.

A hostel with a difference!

Only a country like Sweden would have such a cool idea for a hostel! The company 'Jumbo Stay' have converted old jumbo jets into uber cool hostels in Stockholm, Sweden. Room prices vary from £40 for a single private room with a shared bathroom, to £90 for a twin private with ensuite!

We Love Ibiza!

It's the Ibiza opening weekend this weekend. Would love to be there but I'm not! Last year I went with 6 of my best girl mates for 1 week and had an amazing time. I LOVE Cafe Mambo & Pacha so much!

Here is a calendar with all the important parties on this summer. It's the Pacha opening party with Pete Tong today :o  http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/night/club_dates_june_i.htm

Vietnam: Hue Part 1

After a very interesting overnight train. journey our group arrived in Hue. The 1st day we were taken to the old Citadel where the King used to live, most of it was destroyed by the Americans but they are trying to re-build it all. On one of the days we were taken on a tour on the back of scooters, it was such a good experience, we saw so much of the countryside and stopped off at so many different places. The vietnamese scooter drivers took us to a huge graveyard/valley that went on for miles, dropped us off at a temple where we had lunch, went to a local market with the sweetest little old lady fortune teller. For me it was a highlight of the holiday I loved just taking everything in as we drove along.

Sonar, Barcelona: Accomodation

For all those going to Sonar Music Festival in Barcelona next month, here is an amazing website for really cheap studio apartments in the area. A lot nicer than your average hostel!

Vietnam: Ha Long Bay & Cat Ba Island

Probably the most memorable thing from that top gear episode was the scenes at Ha Long Bay, it was even more beautiful in real life and the boat trip winding around the rocks was a great journey. We stopped off at an island to go inside the caves then went to visit a fish farm. Some Vietnamese people just live on little sheds on floats on the water. I also went kayaking around the little islands. Then we got to land and drove to Cat Ba Island. It was like a little Vietnamese Brighton, completely different to Hanoi, very relaxed, lots of bars with Happy Hour all the time! 50p for a Smirnoff and Lemonade at buy one get one free :)

Festival Style: Dip Dye & Paisley

Inspired by my upcoming trip to Barcelona, I've found some great summer clothes, perfect for Sona Music Festival and those parties on the beach. Surprisingly I have opted for pinks! And paisley patterns which I've never really liked before. All items are from H & M and not too expensive either! Now I've just got to get down the gym!

First Stop: Hanoi

I arrive in Hanoi and it was Crazy! i was told about the scooters but i had no idea there would be that many. The first time i tried to cross the main street i was on my own and I was there for a good 15 minutes trying to cross! Hanoi was a very old city (the oldest in Vietnam in fact_ not a glass building or skyscraper in sight. Centred around a large lake the old quarter was ridiculously busy, with shops at the front of every building, each shop selling exactly the same thing as the next, I have no idea how Vietnamese people manage to make money like that. Watch out for crazy ladies trying to force you to buy things!

My first post- Vietnam

Hi Everyone

This is my first blog post!

I've wanted to go to Vietnam ever since that Top Gear episode and for my 21st birthday this year my family bought me a trip there. I went on my own with intrepid Tours and met 10 other people out there. 4 Kiwis, 4 Aussies,  2 Brits and a Swiss guy. Plus our Vietnamese tour guide called Ha. Coming up are more photos and details of my travels.
